Job Description

Your Role

The Head of Client Operations will be a collaborative leader with a vision of a superior client reporting and transitions experience, along with the ability to deliver on that vision.  Working at the intersection of business and technology is paramount as is the ability to deliver results by working together with global colleagues and teams.

You will be Responsibilities for:

  • Must have a client first focus, possess market knowledge, remain current on industry trends and evolve our industry relationships

  • Pursue innovative ideas across the client lifecycle and effectively separate the firm from its competitors in terms of impact, quality, and efficiency

  • Enrich current protocols and introduce new tools that will further support and enhance a diverse, inclusive, and collaborative global work environment.

  • Proactively question traditional approaches and continually think of differentiated ways to deliver better outcomes.  Possess knowledge of:

  • Client channels and needs of various retail and institutional clients (including intermediaries that cover similar responsibilities). 

  • Incumbent and emerging technology platforms associated with client reporting and transitions

The Experience You Bring: 

  • Must have fundamental knowledge of change management techniques to support speedy execution and continual delivery of business results

  • Provide input into the Client Operations capability model, ensuring it is aligned with the overall Investment and Distribution Services (IDS) strategy

  • Communicate the Client Operations and Investment and Distribution Services (IDS) strategy into the region in support of global and local priorities and create optimal resource allocations

  • Must be proficient at attracting and developing talent with an eye toward Invesco’s client focus and culture of excellence. Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and facilitate on the job training; and own leadership activities required to provide a focus on delivering the highest quality experiences, along with industry, product and technical knowledge

  • Accountable for ensuring all activities related to the corporate talent cycle are followed (e.g., goal setting, performance feedback and management, talent reviews, and compensation planning)

  •  We are seeking an accomplished leader with a strong background in client transitions and client/product information reporting.

  • Significant experience in a senior level role, preferably in the asset management industry and multinational firm

  • Proven experience supporting development of a vision through execution and day to day leadership of a dynamic, client-focused organization

  • Proven track record of strong leadership within a global organization, including coordination with geographically separated centers of excellence

  • Experience creating and executing effective change management, leading others through transformational change

  • Undergraduate degree required, or equivalent qualifications.  A graduate degree is a plus.
