Head of Business Control – Telia Cygate
We’re looking for a Head of Business Control to join us at Telia Cygate.
I’m Elisabeth Stén, CFO, and I’m searching for someone ready to lead and further develop our Business Control function. We are a forward-thinking finance organization focused on building data-driven decision support, scalable governance models, and enabling profitable growth across the business.
What you’ll do
As Head of Business Control, you will lead and develop our Business Control team and play a central role in shaping financial steering, analysis, and performance management across Telia Cygate.
• Lead and develop the Business Control team (currently 3 employees)
• Drive financial planning processes (budget, forecast, long-term planning)
• Own and develop performance management, including monthly business reviews and management reporting
• Partner with business and leadership to provide actionable insights and decision support
• Drive governance, internal control (especially revenue) and financial transparency
• Own and develop BI capabilities (Qlik) and advance data-driven ways of working
• Lead transformation initiatives within digitalization, AI, and automation of finance processes
• Develop commercial steering, including margin management, sales performance, and bonus models
What will help you thrive in this role
You are a driven, analytical, and inspiring leader who combines strong financial expertise with a genuine interest in business development and digitalization.
• Proven experience as a senior Business Controller or similar role
• Leadership experience, with a track record of building strong and high-performing teams
• Strong business understanding and ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Experience from transformation environments, including digitalization and process improvement
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Interest and experience in AI, BI, and data-driven decision making
• Fluency in English and Swedish

You will be part of the CFO Office and work closely with Financial Control & Accounting, Sales Operations, CDO, and Process Development.
