Your Role

We’re hiring a Head of Brand Partnership Sales, to lead our Hudl for Brands sales team. This role is for an experienced and proven sales leader who will set the multi-year roadmap for growing strategic partnerships, focusing on Fortune 500 companies and large agencies. You'll be responsible for driving brand awareness and sales, managing a high-performing team, and personally helping close large deals that include custom content, video (live game and highlights) and display media.

Your Role

  • Lead and mentor. You’ll manage and professionally develop the existing team of Brand Partner Sales professionals. You'll be responsible for hiring, performance check-ins, and leveling up your direct reports through mentorship.
  • Drive sales and partnership growth. You’ll build a multi-year business strategy to hit aggressive revenue goals. You will personally help build and close high-value  brand  partnerships.
  • Manage the pipeline. You'll ensure the team maintains a healthy, well-qualified pipeline in Salesforce, providing accurate weekly revenue forecasts and deal analysis to executive leadership.
  • Influence strategy. You’ll serve as a subject matter expert on behalf of Hudl for Brands.. You'll work with Media Services and Ad Operations, Creative Solutions, Content Programming, Product, and executive teams to define revenue strategy and help monetize  premium inventory that includes growing engagement on CTV.
  • Oversee key relationships. You'll manage strategic client relationships to ensure renewals and long-term retention of key brand partners.

Must-Haves

  • An experienced sales leader. You have eight or more years of progressive experience in digital media sales, ad sales, or brand partnerships, ideally within the sports, youth culture, or education verticals.
  • A proven team builder. You have three or more years of demonstrated experience successfully hiring, coaching, and scaling a high-performance sales team focused on complex brand partnerships.
  • Executive sales acumen. You have a proven history of personally navigating and closing complex, high-value deals with senior executives (like CMOs and VPs of Marketing) at Fortune 500 companies and large agencies.
  • Deep brand and content experience. You’re an expert in developing and selling high-value, non-standard assets like custom content, sponsorships, and integrated media solutions.
  • Technically fluent. You have a deep technical fluency in digital and programmatic media.
  • A strategic traveler. You’re willing to travel 20–25% for customer visits or to Headquarters (HQ).

Nice-to-Haves

  • Advanced education. A Master of Arts (MA) degree is preferred.
  • CRM expertise. You're highly proficient with Salesforce for pipeline management, activity tracking, and forecasting.

Compensation

The base salary range and on-target earnings (OTE) for this role are displayed below. Typically, the total compensation will fall within the middle of the OTE band.

Our compensation decisions are based on an individual's experience, skills and education in line with our internal pay equity practices.

Final compensation will depend on your performance against quotas outlined in your Individual Sales Plan (ISP) upon hire.

This role will also be eligible for a long-term incentive (LTI) award. Any bonuses awarded are based on individual and company performance paid at Hudl's discretion.

$100,000$170,000 USD
On-Target Earnings
$200,000$320,000 USD
