Job Description

About This Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to lead our Commercial Performance team of around 80 colleagues within Commercial Performance & Enablement (CP&E). As a senior leader, you will shape how BCB defines, delivers, and communicates its performance story across the organisation!

You will lead a broad community of specialists; including Performance Support Associates, Performance Directors, Embedded Performance Managers, and Data and Business Analysts. You will ensure that senior stakeholders receive timely, accurate, and actionable insights, while also delivering high‑quality operational and performance support for our Coverage business.

By championing innovative technologies such as Generative Business Intelligence (Gen BI), you will help embed more intuitive and accessible insight delivery that strengthens strategic decision‑making across BCB.

  • Align balanced scorecards and board metrics with Group Finance and Executive Leadership priorities, establishing a clear “golden thread” connecting individual performance to organisational goals.
  • Lead the complete data and insight framework for Commercial Performance, incorporating emerging technologies such as Generative Business Intelligence (Gen BI) to improve accessibility and impact.
  • Own the Executive Reporting model, including balanced scorecards, operational dashboards, and management information suites.
  • Direct the creation of dashboards and actionable insights to aid strategic decision-making and interventions across Coverage teams.
  • Monitor performance across Coverage and Product teams, identifying trends and leading interventions to address underperformance.
  • Maintain a comprehensive view of the primary lead indicators influencing the BCB operating plan and trading performance.
  • Partner with Finance, Product, and Operations teams to ensure consistent alignment of performance goals and enablers.
  • Promote collaboration across Coverage, Client Experience, and Centres of Excellence.
  • Lead the Performance Support Team (PST), enabling efficient, high-quality delivery for SME Coverage and supporting onboarding for projects such as BB Acquisition and Complex SME onboarding.
  • Contribute to strategic programmes including operational demand planning and performance dashboard development.
  • Foster a connected team ecosystem across operational, support, and specialist groups to create a seamless process environment.
  • Champion the Centre of Excellence model, ensuring accurate process catalogues and maps, and alignment with training and procedures for optimal performance.
