Head of Asset Servicing Business Transformation, Managing Director

As the Head of Asset Servicing Business Transformation, you will be responsible for leading and managing the transformation initiatives within the Global Corporate Actions and Income functions. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of global custody and asset servicing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the transformation initiatives within the asset servicing business to ensure alignment with corporate goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business transformation strategy that enhances operational efficiency, client service delivery, and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee the execution of operational changes within the global asset servicing teams, ensuring high-quality service delivery and adherence to internal and external audit controls, compliance, risk management, and business continuity.
  • Engage with global and regional stakeholders to drive the successful delivery of transformation projects.
  • Lead and deliver on strategic projects, ensuring that all initiatives are completed on time and within budget.
  • Report regularly to corporate and regional committees on the progress of transformation initiatives and other relevant matters.

Managerial Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of people, fostering a culture of 'Risk Excellence' and ensuring that staff are motivated, developed, and supported.
  • Establish and monitor systems of control, delegated authority, and escalation procedures to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Develop effective working relationships and communications with staff, ensuring that they have a clear understanding of their roles, responsibilities, and objectives.
  • Ensure that the team has the necessary skills and competencies to perform their roles effectively.

Skills and Experience:

  • Senior-level, experienced talent with deep subject matter expertise in global custody and the broader asset servicing product set.
  • Proven track record of working with large, complex clients and establishing strong partnerships at all levels.
  • Excellent client skills and the ability to engage at all levels within an organization.
  • Strong understanding of operational processes across all aspects of global custody.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage and mentor staff.
  • Proven ability to execute on deliverables and strategic vision.
  • Solid understanding of IT solutions to create the optimal operational model.
  • 10+ years of experience in financial services, with prior experience in custody, banking, or asset management.
  • Strong team player who can thrive in a large, complex global organization.

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry-recognized qualification.
  • 10+ years of experience with custody operations.
  • 6+ years of leadership experience.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • The ideal candidate will be well-organized, detail-oriented, and analytical, with the ability to handle multiple assignments and work efficiently under pressure.
