The role will be based in New York City with the expectation of a hybrid work model.

The Americas Head of Product will own and drive MIM’s product strategy, development and management efforts in the region. The role requires a deep understanding of public and private markets and how to enable access to these capabilities across investor channels. The successful candidate will play a critical role in assessing, prioritizing and delivering a pipeline of products in line with MIM’s strategic ambitions, and will be responsible for the Americas product suite throughout the product lifecycle. It is necessary to have the gravitas and confidence to operate at all levels of the organization, including senior leadership, and the judgement to provide constructive challenge and help shape effective decision making.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Product function in the Americas across product strategy, development, and management for public and private markets. You will be the go-to person for all product-related matters in the region
  • Stay on top of trends and opportunities with support from the Product Intelligence team; deliver proactive insights to inform decision making on the go-forward Product strategy
  • In partnership with the Global Head of Product and broader team, develop a focused product pipeline for the region that prioritizes client needs, aligns with MIM’s broader strategy, and facilitates efficient scale and profitability
  • Lead the end-to-end process of product design, launch, enhancements and closures in the Americas
  • Oversight of the Americas Product line up to support the delivery of strategic objectives and financial targets
  • Present information and recommendations to a variety of internal and external stakeholders in a clear, confident manner, including Board and Committee Members and Senior Leadership
  • Build strong and robust relationships with colleagues across functions to ensure effective product delivery including Client Group, Investments, Legal, Operations, and Senior Management
  • Act as a trusted advisor to colleagues; instill confidence in your ability and constructively challenge thinking where needed
  • Uphold a strong risk management and compliance culture within the Product function, operating within regulatory and statutory requirements and ensure that MIM meets its fiduciary responsibilities

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (10+ years) across product strategy, development and management (full product lifecycle)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university
  • Track record of successful strategic planning, direction, and execution on high-priority matters
  • Strong investment knowledge across public and private markets strategies
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining comingled funds, funds of one, and SMAs for the Americas across investor channels
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and nurture strategic relationships with team members across functions and levels of seniority to lead and influence the determination and execution of initiatives
  • Familiarity with harnessing data from key databases to help inform decision making and prioritization, such as eVestment, Preqin, Broadridge, etc.
  • Ability to understand complex product and structuring issues to ensure proper direction and efficient resolution
  • Decisive and able to work independently to drive initiatives forward
  • Ability to multi-task and manage conflicting priorities while staying organized to achieve success for the firm

*Salary Range: $250,000-280,000 annually + bonus + benefits
