REQ14448 Head, Hair Stylist (Open)
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Head, Hair Stylist is responsible for delivering exceptional, high end hair services in one of the most exclusive areas of the luxury complex. This position focuses on superior client experience, showcasing exquisite skills, and detailed personal consultation. The Head, Hair Stylist will manage the end-to-end service experience, building personal brand and recognition and ensuring the treatments and services provided are in line with company’s standards of excellence.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build and maintain personal brand and professional recognition aligned with company’s luxury image
- Actively engage with and contribute to social media content, including posting and/or participating in creative sessions as guided by the Company
- Collaborate with the Company’s full marketing and social media support team to increase visibility and attract guests across Asia
- Provide a level of service that exceeds all guest expectations by carrying out treatments in a consistent manner and within the time allocated.
- Perform all treatments as specified in treatment training and procedures. Respond to all guests’ request in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Access to Company’s guests to fill the daily appointment and maintain the ability and responsibility to source, attract, and build personal clientele
- Build and maintain a guest base and maintain updated guest records at all times.
- Provide support to retail area by providing guest with useful home-care products and advices.
- Keep the property clean and tidy by performing delegated tasks when required.
- Monitor the status of all equipment and notify superiors if there is any maintenance or repair needs required.
- Ensure effective and cooperative liaison between relevant parties. Act as a support to team members by performing other tasks as necessary, such as reception duties, stock count, unpacking of stock, etc.
- Adhere to and act in accordance with the company’s health and safety policy by assuming responsibility for own health and safety as well as other team members.
- Adhere to and act in accordance with the company’s internal policies by assuming responsibility for ensuring workplace is free of unacceptable workplace behaviour, and a workplace culture of equity and diversity is fostered.
- Adhere and follow company’s health and safety requirements.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Report accidents, injuries, unsafe work conditions and / or security issues to the superiors.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by superiors from time to time.
Experience
- Relevant experience in delivering a wide range of hair treatments.
- Relevant experience in luxury or boutique salon environments
- Sound product sales experience with the ability of talk with guest and advise on which products would be suitable to meet their current needs, and research retail sales target set.
Education
- International hair therapy qualifications or local equivalent.
Skills / Competencies
- Good knowledge of various hair treatment techniques.
- Sound product knowledge with the ability to recommend and confidently talk about all of the product range.
- Patience and ability to follow through.
- Mandarin speaker is preferred.
- Ability to read and communicate in Cantonese / Mandarin / English.
- Ability to work on flexible shift including overnight, weekends and holiday on rotation basis.
