Key responsibilities:
Define and execute a unified platform strategy across: Public Cloud (AWS, Azure) Private Cloud & Hosting Services Middleware, Application Services, and Database platforms AI Platforms and High‑Performance Compute (HPC)
Establish standardized, productized, and reusable platforms that balance performance, cost, speed, resilience, and compliance across global markets.
Translate enterprise and scientific AI needs into scalable AI and HPC platform capabilities, enabling model training, inference, simulation, and advanced analytics.
Lead hands‑on design and delivery of: Cloud‑native and hybrid hosting platforms AI platforms (model development, training, inference enablement) HPC environments optimized for compute‑intensive workloads
Ensure security‑by‑design, compliance‑by‑default, and automation are embedded across all platforms.
Drive infrastructure‑ and platform‑as‑code, self‑service provisioning, and workload‑optimized architectures (cloud, on‑prem, hybrid) including transition to Agentic approaches
Partner with senior business leaders, IT Business Partners, and product teams to shape demand, solution options, and funding models.
Define and govern System Integrator and technology partner strategies, including cloud providers, AI/HPC ecosystem partners, and platform vendors. Actively engage partners in co‑engineering, design partnerships, and innovation programs.
Establish and implement strong platform governance and FinOps across the environment
Lead and develop cross‑functional platform engineering and operations teams in a global matrix environment.
15+ years of experience leading large scale global team delivering enterprise cloud and hosting services, including a large scale AWS and Azure foot print.
Hands‑on leadership of AI and High‑Performance Compute environment andplatforms, supporting large‑scale compute, data, and model workloads.
Experience designing platforms in regulated, security‑sensitive environments.
Ability to lead large, cross‑functional engineering teams in a global matrix organization.
Strong track record in strategy definition, platform build, and operational ownership.
