Job Summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated Head of Cybersecurity Operations and Chief Information Security Officer to join our Technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end security posture of our data center facilities and cloud infrastructure, merging technical oversight with strategic governance to ensure our facilities remain a fortress for client data. This leadership position focuses on protecting critical infrastructure while maintaining global uptime and security standards.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Responsibility 1: Lead the 24/7 Security Operations Center to monitor, detect, and respond to threats, acting as the primary lead for incident response to ensure containment and post-incident analysis.
     

  • Responsibility 2: Collaborate with Infrastructure and Building Management teams to secure Industrial Control Systems and power grids, enforcing "Zero Trust" protocols across physical and logical access points.
     

  • Responsibility 3: Ensure compliance with organizational standards and global regulations, including International Organization for Standardization 27001, System and Organization Controls 1 and 2, and Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard.
     

What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 10+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, with at least 4 years in a leadership role within a Data Center or Critical Infrastructure environment.
     

  • Strong knowledge of Border Gateway Protocol security, Distributed Denial of Service scrubbing, and Security Information and Event Management platforms.
     

  • Proven ability in stakeholder management, crisis decision-making, and translating complex technical risks into business impact for executive leadership.
     

  • Mandatory Certified Information Systems Security Professional and Certified Information Security Manager or Certified Information Systems Auditor certifications.
