We are currently recruiting for a Head Chef to join Harrods’ passionate and high-performing dining team within our iconic Knightsbridge store. This is an opportunity to lead at scale within a globally recognised luxury brand, delivering a dining concept where craftsmanship, consistency and innovation are evident in every detail.

About the Role

As Head Chef at one of Harrods’ renowned restaurants, you’ll lead in an environment where elevated informal dining meets precision, pace and uncompromising quality. Combining refined culinary skill with strong people leadership, you’ll play a key role in upholding and evolving Harrods’ luxury food reputation.

Operating in a fast paced, high volume setting, you’ll guide the brigade through demanding service periods, delivering experiential dining at scale without compromising consistency or execution. With responsibility for significant cover numbers and revenue, strong organisation, planning and decision making will be essential.

A champion of standards, you’ll drive excellence across food quality, HACCP, due diligence and compliance, while creating a motivated, high performing team culture where pride, professionalism and attention to detail are embedded at every level.

About You

You are a confident and accomplished kitchen leader with a passion for exceptional food and high performing teams. You bring refined culinary expertise, commercial awareness and operational discipline, remaining calm, organised and solutions focused in fast paced environments.

You will also have:

  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire, coach and develop chefs at all levels
  • Strong culinary skill set with broad knowledge of cuisine, production planning and kitchen operations
  • Experience in managing KPIs and driving strong commercial performance
  • Excellent organisational capability, with the confidence to assess challenges and act decisively
  • Level 3 or 4 Food Safety certification, with strong knowledge of food safety, compliance, HACCP and due diligence standards
