Overview:
Parson’s finance organization is seeking a dynamic leader to join our team as the High Consequence Missions (HCM) Sector Finance Lead, responsible for a complex portfolio with roughly ~$0.8M of yearly revenue, 3 offline entities, and supporting acquisition and integration efforts for the business This highly visible position reports to the Vice President of Finance for D&I and partners heavily with the D&I team, including the Senior Vice President / Sector Manager, Sector Operations Lead, Sector Business Development Lead, Sector Project Controls Lead, Sector Program Managers, and others from the Sector Operations Team. This position requires an initiative-taking, team-oriented leader who can thrive in a growing, fast-paced organization. We are seeking a leader with growth potential who can scale with the business unit.
The Sector Finance Lead’s primary responsibility is to manage a $0.8M revenue sector comprised of complex contract portfolio with a variety of contract types, offline entities, and mix of service and product efforts. The portfolio spans a diverse clientele of U.S. Federal Government agencies, including the Department of Defense, Military Service Components, Combatant Commands, Intelligence Agencies, Missile Defense Agency, National Aeronautics and Space Administration, and the General Services Administration Federal Systems Integration and Management Center, and various contract types including firm fixed price, time and materials, cost plus fixed fee, and cost plus award fee. This position includes providing financial support, guidance, and expertise to the various stakeholders both within and outside of the D&I and Sector organizations, and requires managing the monthly, quarterly and year-end financial close and reporting processes.
Location: Flexible with willingness to travel to Northern Virginia on occasion
