Position Summary

In your role as a HAZMAT Chemical and Gas professional you'll be responsible for the safe and compliant management, storage, and transportation of hazardous materials and gases. You will utilize your deep knowledge of DOT HAZMAT, Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) regulations, as well as vendor management, KPI development, and compliance with international fire and building codes.

Role and Responsibilities

Here's what you'll be responsible for:

  • Create and produce a series of reports on daily, weekly, and monthly basis to meet department goals.

  • Perform causative research and documents discrepancies using all available resources to identify root causes and offer possible solutions.  

  • Provide oversight of logistics operations and technical expertise for SOPs.

  • Regularly monitor workflow and the execution of assigned logistical functions for SAS and SDS.

  • Benchmark new logistics developments and identify areas of improvement for raw material logistics and identify and address various process gaps. 

  • Oversee the deliveries of specialized shipments.

  • Coordinate and schedule raw material shipments to sustain target site levels and keep the Fab constantly supplied. Remain synchronized with end users’ requirements. 

  • Act quickly when disruption in raw materials flow (off site); liaison between Procurement and end user.

  • Develop projects to refine and make lean systems and processes for current raw material support operations.  Execute projects to specified timelines. 

Skills and Qualifications

Here's what you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, or Business related field required.

  • Minimum of 3 years in Supply Chain with at least one year in inventory and supply chain management.

  • Skilled in MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

  • Advanced Excel data analysis skills—required. 

  • SAP Material Management a plus.

The current base salary range for this role is between $57,760 - $156,950. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
