Business Unit: Sustainable Automation
Overview
The Sustainable Automation BU is enabling the factory of the future by driving innovation in sensing and control automation. As part of this mission, the Industrial Controls sub‑strategy focuses on advancing technologies for programmable logic controllers (PLCs), distributed control systems (DCS), and next‑generation industrial control architectures. Customers such as Siemens, Rockwell, Honeywell, and Mitsubishi increasingly rely on ADI not only for components but for system‑level hardware, software, and architectural innovation.
Our group is seeking a Systems Engineer with a strong hardware and software electrical engineering focus to support system PCB‑level development, system‑level hardware design, test and debug to support ADIs ongoing investment into silicon products targeted at the industrial automation end market. customer engagement….
Key Responsibilities
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
3–5 years of relevant industrial or system‑level engineering experience.
Strong understanding of hardware and/or software fundamentals.
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
Interest in applying AI tools and digital‑twin methodologies to engineering workflows.
Preferred:
Experience in industrial automation, PLCs, DCS, or control systems.
Exposure to system‑level architecture, benchmarking, or competitive analysis.
Familiarity with AI/ML tools, simulation environments, or digital‑twin frameworks.
Strong business awareness and willingness to collaborate across marketing, sales, and engineering.

Some Travel expected.
