We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Hardware Design Engineering Intern to join our hardware development team. In this role, you will support the design, development, and validation of hardware components and systems, working closely with experienced engineers throughout the product development lifecycle. This internship offers hands-on exposure to real-world hardware design challenges in a collaborative and fast-paced engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of hardware components, subsystems, or boards under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Support schematic capture, component selection, and basic PCB layout reviews.
- Participate in hardware bring-up, debugging, and validation activities.
- Help execute lab testing, measurements, and data analysis using standard test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters).
- Document design changes, test results, and technical findings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as validation, manufacturing, and software engineering.
- Follow established engineering processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines.

Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's in Electronics or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 3+ months of experience in Electrical Engineering (both Digital and Analog Electronics).
- Advance English level.
- Must have unrestricted, permanent right to work in Mexico (this role is not eligible for visa or immigration sponsorship).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge on Computer Architecture.
- Intermediate or Advanced Programing skills in a Hardware Description Language like Verilog
- Intermediate Programing skills in Python.
- Reading and interpreting electronic components datasheets
