Cleaner/Handy Person

A vacancy has arisen for a Cleaner/Handy Person at our Kettering depot to assist in the cleaning and upkeep of the depot premises and bus fleet.

The successful candidate will be a pro-active and motivated team player with a good eye for detail who can work safely and effectively unsupervised and use their own initiative to identify and rectify issues, maintaining high standards throughout the depot.

The job primarily involves:

• Parking up buses in the yard and washing them during the day.

• Cleaning and sanitising all communal areas of the depot including toilets, offices, workshop, pits, walkways, rest rooms etc.

• General yard and depot maintenance; painting, gardening, and carrying out basic repairs to the building.

A full driving licence is required (a bus licence would be beneficial but not essential).

You’ll be working full time (39 hours a week) Monday to Friday.

In return you’ll get 20 days holiday a year (plus bank holidays) and free bus travel on our bus network including a pass for your partner and up to 2 children.

£28’372- 29’386 depending on PCV Licence, per annum.
