Provide Information Desk Leadership
Provide staff leadership and a constant staff presence at the Information Desk. Assessing, coaching, and guiding our student Guest Services team as they greet and inform guests, answering ministry calls, providing accurate information to our guests, students, and PCC departments, and the support of campus event check-ins.
Provide Oversight of PCC Campus Tours
Oversee training and evaluation of each Student Tour Guide to ensure the communication and presentation meets expectations outlined in the PCC Tour Handbook. Provide weekly reports to the Director of Guest Services outlining how many guests toured daily and provide any valuable guest feedback to improve our guest experience.
Oversight of Event Support
Communicate interdepartmental and team responsibilities for yearly events. Each fall, interterm, spring, and summer the Guest Services Information Desk becomes the early and late check-in for the following events: Welcome Weekends, Pre-term and Interterm, Eagles Classic Invitationals, College Days, Explore PCC, Alumni Homecoming, and Teen Extreme weeks.
Create and Manage a Student Training Program
Because of the extensive volume of knowledge each Guest Services student worker must retain, a robust ongoing training program must be developed. Non-event times at the desk will be utilized to complete weekly quizzes, role play to test situational awareness, where to find information, "what if" scenarios, etc.

Work Experience
Required Experience:
1+ years in public relations Preferred Experience: 2+ years at PCC

Capable of standing and walking for long periods of time, Group Problem Solving, Hospitality Customer Experience, Interpersonal Relationships, Microsoft Applications, Oral Communications, Professional in conduct and appearance, Situation Management, Written Communication
