Employment Type: Full-time (one year contract)
As a Guest Services Assistant (GSA) with AirAsia X based in Taipei, you will be the face of our airline on the ground. This role is essential in delivering a seamless and safe guest experience, ensuring every guest journey is smooth from check-in to boarding and arrival.
Maintain the highest standards of safety, security, and service excellence during all phases of ground operations.
Ensure compliance with all Airline Standards, Safety Procedures, and local regulations.
Documentation Checks:
Verify passenger passports (international) or ID (domestic).
Confirm reservations and issue boarding passes using the system.
Luggage Management:
Tag passenger luggage and inspect carry-on items according to terms & conditions.
Guest Handling:
Assist with boarding and deplaning.
Provide special assistance to guests with needs (e.g., wheelchair, NTL).
Document Handling:
Manage GD forms, crew sign-in, and collect immigration cards for arrival and departure.
Security Protocols:
Ask all passengers checking in luggage the 7 mandatory security questions.
Always uphold and comply with AirAsia X's safety, security, and service standards in all operational areas.
Pleasant, friendly, and mature personality with a passion for customer service.
Humble, honest, and meticulous with a keen eye for detail.
Proactive self-starter able to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia, or local language (Mandarin recommended).
Willing and able to work on rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
