Job Description

Represents the Blackwell Inn with gracious, prompt, courteous and professional interactions as primary point of contact with guests and staff; welcomes guests; facilitates check-in and check-out process; facilitates transactions and assists with change handling and accounting process; responds to guest needs and requests; answers telephone and communicates information to guests and staff; works with Blackwell management to maintain the highest levels of guest service; trains and supervises student staff. The Blackwell Inn is a 24/7 operation, work hours vary and include evenings, holidays and weekends. This position supervises the employees and guest interactions on the shift and works to ensure that the hotel is meeting the 4 star level of service in every guest interaction. As the supervisor of the shift, this position ensures that all Blackwell policies and procedures are met. Assisting guests to meet their level of satisfaction as elevated to the supervisory level. Candidate must have a strong customer service background and an ability and willingness to go above and beyond for the guest experience. Position is an integral part of passing three annual secret shopper inspections and training staff up to meet these levels as well.

Minimum Education Required

High School diploma or GED. Certification or vocational training may be required. Associate degree in relevant field may be preferred. 2 years of relevant experience required. 4-6 years of relevant experience preferred

Desired Education
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with a major in hospitality management or related field.


Required Qualifications
Per CCS requirements; Hotel guest service experience, Bachelor's in hospitality management. Previous supervisor or customer service experience is preferred.
