We are looking for a highly technical GTM Strategy & Planning Analyst (or Sr Analyst) to join our Global GTM Strategy & Planning team. Reporting directly to the Director of GTM Strategy & Planning, you will be the technical architect behind our revenue-generating machine.

In this role, you won't just be managing spreadsheets; you will be building the scalable infrastructure, processes, and automated tools that allow our leadership team to steer the business. You will be a primary builder of our Source of Truth assets and the "special ops" resource for deep-dive performance analytics. When the business asks, "Why is our pipeline shifting?" or "How should we model our next $100M?", you will provide the technical framework and the data-backed answer.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • GTM Systems Architecture & Scalability
    • The SOT Builder: Design, build, and maintain our foundational GTM assets (ex. executive dashboards, pacing models, and "Source of Truth" reporting), ensuring 100% data integrity across the revenue org.
    • Scalable Tooling: Move us away from "manual pulls." Build automated, repeatable tools and workflows that allow the GTM org to self-serve and manage their business with precision.
    • Infrastructure Strategy: Partner with Analytics and Finance to ensure our GTM data architecture supports long-term scale.
  • Strategic Deep Dives & Performance Diagnostics
    • Uncovering Insights: Conduct proactive, ad-hoc "performance deep dives" to identify friction points in the funnel. You will investigate trends in win rates, sales velocity, and segment performance to uncover actionable levers for growth.
    • Strategic Modeling: Help build the technical backbone for GTM planning, including territory design, quota setting, and capacity models that adjust dynamically to business inputs.
    • Leadership Synthesis: Translate complex data trends into actionable insights
  • Process Innovation
    • Operational Excellence: Audit existing GTM processes and rebuild them for efficiency. You will identify where our "data plumbing" is leaking and implement permanent, scalable fixes.
    • Cross-Functional Bridge: Serve as the technical liaison between teams (GTM, Finance, Analytics, Marketing etc) to ensure our definitions of "success" are unified and measurable.
QUALIFICATIONS 
  • Experience: 1+ years of total experience in Revenue Operations, Business Operations, Strategy, or Analytics roles, preferably in Saas
  • Analytical Prowess: Strong proficiency in SQL, Viz Tools (Tableau, Looker, etc), Python, Excel/Google Sheets
  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to see the "big picture" while managing the details. You can flip between high-level strategy and deep-dive analytics seamlessly.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You can explain complex operational concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence without authority.

The annual salary hiring range for this position is $80,000 - $115,000 USD. 

Compensation is based on factors unique to each candidate, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, qualification, education, experience, and location. At Gong, we have a location-based compensation structure, which means there may be a different range for candidates in other locations. The total compensation package for this position, in addition to base compensation, may include incentive compensation, bonus, equity, and benefits. Some of our sales compensation programs also offer the potential to achieve above targeted earnings for those who exceed their sales targets.
