This role reports into the North America Video Security & Access Control’s Sales organization. Motorola Solution’s Video & Access Control Division (VS&A) is defining the future of the security industry through innovative end-to-end solutions and award-winning AI-based surveillance systems. Artificial Intelligence is transforming the world, and our team is advancing the field as it applies to the surveillance industry. Our video and access solutions have been installed in more than 120 countries at thousands of customer sites, including school campuses, transportation systems, healthcare centers, public venues, critical infrastructure, prisons, factories, casinos, airports, financial institutions, government facilities, and retailers.


Job Description

This is a high-visibility, mission-critical role reporting to the North America Sales Operation and Strategy team, positioning you at the intersection of Product Management and Sales Strategy for North America Video Security & Access Control (VS&A).

The GTM Regional Product Management Director is responsible for driving business growth and ensuring market success by aligning our sales strategy with the product roadmap. 

Key responsibilities for this dynamic role include:

  • Portfolio Strategy: Serving as the North America GTM expert to understand product overlaps, identify gaps, track product roadmaps, and ensure future features and functionalities are prioritized based on market needs.

  • Go-to-Market Execution: Developing and executing high-impact GTM initiatives and processes—from launch to end-of-life—to accelerate sales objectives. This includes coordinating creation of new sales enablement materials, programs, and sales approaches.

  • Sales Enablement & Support: Coordinating a forward deployment team to lead new product demos and beta testing, ensuring seamless knowledge transfer to the Sales Engineering teams.

  • Success in this role translates directly into a tighter, more effective alignment between the Product Management team and the overall sales strategy, resulting in measurable business performance growth across our various Go-to-Market channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads the development and execution of strategic and/or tactical initiatives and programs (e.g., enablement, incentives, campaigns, training) to drive growth across the VS&A North America business.

  • Drives sales ramp-up of new products through engagement activities with key customers and partners.

  • Analyzes business opportunities and market trends to grow the VS&A MSI offer both organically and inorganically, providing input to influence and define the future North American product portfolio strategy.

  • Tracks product performance by business segment, industry, and GTM channel, and implements responsive actions based on ongoing metrics.

  • Collaborates closely with product and marketing teams to ensure successful product 

  • Captures and prioritizes product requirements across the VS&A portfolio based on market conditions, Voice of the Customer (VoC), and sales input.

  • Aligns product and/or feature roadmaps with the global Product Management teams.

  • Supports product beta testing plans in coordination with the product and sales teams.

  • Maintains a pulse on the competitive landscape and overall market trends to define market-leading solutions.

  • Provides early visibility of upcoming products to downstream teams to support capacity planning, channel enablement, and prioritization.

  • Supports product development by helping to manage trade-offs involving features, schedules, cost, pricing, solution positioning, and lifecycle management.

  • Works cross-functionally with Product, Operations, Finance, Marketing, and other organizations to ensure the overall strategy for each new offer can be executed effectively.

Specific Knowledge & Skills:

  • 12+ years of related experience in portfolio or product management, Product Planning, Product Marketing, Sales, Sales Operations, or Engineering.

  • Bachelor's degree required; a Master's degree is a plus.

  • Strong understanding of financial cost models and business plans.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to understand and communicate the big picture while being detail-oriented about execution.

  • Self-motivated, results-driven with a strong sense of urgency.

  • Excellent project management skills.

  • Able to navigate a highly-matrixed organization and gain trust with leaders across multiple layers.

Target Base Salary Range: $165,000 - $200,000 USD

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.


Basic Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree with 12+ years experience in one of the following: Portfolio or Product Management, Product Planning, Marketing, Sales, Sales Operations, or Engineering.
