Overview & Responsibilities

Purpose of the Job

Lead multi-site, regional, or global programs for Process Excellence across manufacturing and/or service. Define the roadmap, sponsor key initiatives, and partner with senior leaders to drive transformation, standardization, and measurable enterprise impact. Focus: scale best practices and institutionalize an operating system for excellence.

Background and Experience

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience).  Degrees or Advanced Degrees with an emphasis on Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Operational Excellence considered a plus.

Experience: 10–15+ years leading multi-site or global CI / process excellence transformations and culture change.

Certifications: Black Belt required; Lean Master / Master Black Belt preferred.

  • Enterprise program governance, policy deployment (e.g., Hoshin), and KPI systems.
  • Ability to coach leaders and manage multiple workstreams at scale.
  •  Strategic planning, budgeting, and resource allocation across sites/regions.
  • Strong external benchmarking and best-practice replication experience.
  • Executive-level communication and change leadership.
  • Proven leadership skills to coach and lead teams to fully deliver chartered objectives and projects.

Contact with Others

  • High interaction with senior leadership across multiple sites/regions, including executive sponsors.
  • Coordinates with global functional leaders and external networks to scale best practices.

Supervision

  • Leads managers and/or senior individual contributors.
  • Accountable for organization design, staffing, and capability development across multiple sites/regions.

  • Strong analytics and benefits realization discipline.
  • Accountable for multi-site or regional/global results, including transformation program outcomes, standardization, and capability building.
  • Influences investment decisions and resource allocation within delegated authority.
  • Sets priorities and governance for multi-site/regional/global programs.
  • Approves major initiative roadmaps and resource allocations within delegated authority.
