We're looking for a dynamic global Growth Marketing Manager to join our Private Equity & Venture Capital Practice at Salesforce. In this role, you'll be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing high-impact field marketing programs that drive pipeline growth, customer engagement, and brand awareness within top Private Equity Firms and their Portfolio Companies.
You'll work closely with our private equity relationship managers, executive marketing, field marketing, product marketing, and external stakeholders including our customers and partners to create exceptional experiences—from intimate executive dinners to large-scale regional events like our Private Equity Value Creation Days and our Private Equity Dreamforce Program.
This role will be based in our London office, but requires working US East Coast hours for the majority of the week.
What You'll Do
Event Strategy & Execution:
* Plan and execute global Private Equity engagements annually including:
Our annual global Value Creation Days for Private Equity Operating Partners and their portfolio company CxOs in multiple locations
* Plan and executive Private Equity and Portfolio dinners in alignment with key internal stake holders
* Leverage our global World Tours for portfolio and Private Equity activations
* Leverage Salesforce Executive Marketing and Industry co-marketing events
* Support and execute our annual Dreamforce Private Equity program
* Manage our Private Equity event sponsorships
* Manage end-to-end event lifecycle: strategy, budgeting, vendor management, logistics, attendee experience, and post-event follow-up including tracking of our KPIs
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Relationship Managers, StratOps, Customer Success, Product, Industry and Executive Marketing) to ensure seamless execution
* Drive registration, attendance, and engagement goals for each event
Digital Marketing:
* Own and manage the Private Equity website presence, including content updates, optimization, and alignment with campaign priorities
* Plan, execute, and host webinars end-to-end, including topic development, speaker coordination, promotion, and post-event follow-up
* Execute against our Private Equity social media strategy, including content publishing, and performance tracking
* Monitor and analyze digital performance (web, social, webinars) and provide actionable insights to optimize engagement and conversion
* Partner with demand generation and content teams to amplify campaigns across digital channels
Content & Customer Marketing:
* Coordinate with the relationship managers to identify portfolio companies, that are suitable for externally facing customer stories
* Support securing Private Equity and Portfolio Company speakers and Salesforce thought leaders for our key engagements
* Ensure brand and messaging consistency across all event touch points
Pipeline & Revenue Impact:
* Use our internal data to identify key Private Equity Firms and portfolio companies target accounts and personas for event participation
* Track and report on marketing-influenced pipeline, ACV contribution, and ROI metrics
* Manage event budget tracking and forecasting
Required:
* 5+ years of B2B field marketing experience, ideally across multiple countries
* Proven track record of executing high-touch executive campaigns and multi-channel field programs
* Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
* Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively
* Experience working with sales teams and understanding of sales processes and pipeline metrics
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
* Data-driven mindset with the ability to track, analyze, and report on marketing performance
* Budget and invoice management experience
* Willingness to work US East Coast hours for the majority of the week
* Willingness to travel 20–30% for event execution and team collaboration
* Experience will be evaluated based on alignment to the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer work, etc.).
Preferred:
* Experience in private equity, venture capital, or professional services industries
* Knowledge of AI/ML products and enterprise transformation initiatives
* Experience with marketing automation and email marketing platforms and event management tools
* Experience working in a fast-paced, innovative and metrics-driven environment
* Account-Based Marketing (ABM) Experience:
* Experience supporting or executing account-based marketing (ABM) programs
* Ability to develop personalized, multi-channel campaigns tailored to key accounts
* Experience aligning ABM initiatives with pipeline and revenue goals
* Ability to collaborate cross-functionally to deliver coordinated account engagement across events, digital, and sales touchpoints
