The Wealth Management & Insurance division covers three businesses in all Santander Group countries: Insurance, Asset Management and Private Banking. We work to provide the best solutions to our clients in these three businesses in the 10 countries where we are present.

THE DIFFERENCE YOU MAKE

The Wealth Management & Insurance division is looking for a Growth and Performance Lead Sr. Analyst based out of Madrid.

We’re shaping the way we work through innovation, cutting-edge technology, collaboration and the freedom to explore new ideas. To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for:

Paid Media Scaling (Core Responsibility)

  • Define and coordinate global paid media investment strategies aligned with growth targets.

  • Identify scaling opportunities across markets and products.

  • Optimize channel mix, bidding strategies and budget allocation to maximize ROI.

  • Support countries in moving from pilot campaigns to scalable, always-on performance models.

  • Ensure alignment between Paid Media investment and LTV/CAC economics.

  • Build performance dashboards and reporting frameworks to track incremental impact.

Generative Search & AI Demand Generation

  • Develop and lead Santander Insurance’s Generative Search strategy, including ChatGPT and emerging AI-driven discovery environments.

  • Identify opportunities to position Santander Insurance products within generative search results through:

    • Content optimization

    • Structured information

    • High-quality product visibility

  • Partner with local Digital Teams (Content, SEO and Communication teams) to create AI-optimized content.

  • Monitor performance and visibility in generative environments and adjust strategy accordingly.

  • Act as internal reference point for AI-driven acquisition opportunities.

Organic & Owned Media Optimization

  • Strengthen organic acquisition channels, including SEO and website performance.

  • Identify opportunities to improve insurance product visibility within Santander owned media (app, web, CRM).

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize landing pages and content for organic traffic.

  • Ensure consistency between communication messaging and performance objectives.

Communication & Performance Alignment

  • Align performance marketing strategies with communication campaigns and brand positioning.

  • Ensure performance campaigns are supported by coherent messaging and value propositions.

  • Collaborate with Marketing and Communication teams to maximize demand generation impact.

  • Support development of data-driven campaign narratives and messaging optimization.

Professional Experience

  • At least 7 years of professional experience, with 5+ years in performance marketing, digital acquisition or growth roles. (Required)

  • Experience scaling paid media across multiple markets. (Required)

  • Experience managing budgets and optimizing ROI. (Required)

  • Experience working in multinational, matrix organizations. (Required)

  • Knowledge of insurance products and business models.  (Preferred)

  • Highly analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to detect subtle performance drivers and trends. (Required)

  • Experience in insurance or financial services. (Preferred)

  • Experience working in international and multicultural environments. (Preferred)

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business or a related field. (Required)

  • Digital marketing certifications (e.g. Google Ads, Meta Blueprint). (Preferred)

  • MBA or postgraduate studies. (Preferred)

Languages

  • Fluent in English and Spanish. (Required)

  • Portuguese is highly desirable.  (Preferred)

Hard Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with: Google Ads, Meta Ads, Campaign Manager 360, Google Analytics 4, Tag management tools. (Required)

  • Strong knowledge of paid media strategy, execution and optimization across digital channels. (Required)

  • Understanding of SEO and organic growth principles. (Required)

  • Familiarity with AI-driven search environments and emerging digital acquisition channels. (Required)

  • Strong analytical mindset and performance orientation. (Required)

Soft Skills

  • Ability to influence stakeholders across functions and geographies. (Preferred)

  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills; a collaborative, people-oriented profile. (Preferred)
