Your new colleagues in the Group Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) department are looking forward to welcoming you to the safety and Health section. Group SHE consists of different, small dynamic teams that work closely together. We want you to participate in the collaborative effort of the health and safety section.
Essentially, what we do is optimise health and safety performance and standards at our factories, most of the time we work from the office in Poznań, but it also includes being physically in our factories, supporting health and safety managers and factories in many ways.
This is the role
Maintaining and further develop a safe and healthy operation is a key target for the ROCKWOOL Group. The most important stakeholders are the factories and our engineering and development departments. And your most important role is to help develop, implement and drive the safety and health strategy for ROCKWOOL in the effort to ensure a better level of S&H and a higher awareness together with your stakeholders.
Your key to success is close collaboration with our factories in many different cultures. You listen and understand the factory needs, you support the local safety and health managers, and you work closely with them to make sure that best practices are something that everyone actively follows.
You must:
Drive continuous improvements in S&H performance and provide professional assistance regarding key safety and health processes, e.g., by auditing our factories and developing tools.
Ensure compliance and conformance to the ROCKWOOL Group’s policies and Mandatory Minimum Requirements (MMRs) regarding S&H.
Drive and facilitate global H&S network meetings.
Support our international project managers and project teams by reviewing and recommending solutions for healthy and safe solutions.
Keep yourself up to date with newest legislation and knowledge and provide relevant information to stakeholders.

This is what you offer
You have very solid S&H experience.
You have a professional and well-equipped toolbox of S&H management systems as well as deep insight into S&H legislation.
You have professional project management experience, which allows you to successfully drive cross-organizational projects from a-z.
Moreover, you are used to working in a multi-cultural setting with various stakeholders. You have excellent communication skills, and a clear communicator and you own the ability to cooperate across disciplinary and organisational levels. You can easily establish an overview and work systematically to create results.
On a personal level, colleagues know you as a curious and open person who is an excellent team player and has a positive mindset and practises mutual respect. You have influencing power and impact and it is natural for you to take responsibility for your work and professional responsibilities.
Besides that, you have:
8-10+ years of experience in working with safety and health tasks in an industrial company.
An engineering, scientific or technical background.
Fluent in English when it comes to communicating verbally and in writing.
You should expect to travel 30-50 days a year.
