Group Reporting Manager

We are seeking a Group Consolidation Manager for a 2-year fixed-term contract based in either the Czech Republic or Bulgaria. This role leads the consolidation team responsible for compiling, analyzing, and delivering timely and accurate financial and operational results for the Group and its entities. This role ensures compliance with IFRS and supports strategic financial initiatives, including mergers & acquisitions, alliances, and R&D arrangements. The manager collaborates closely with the broader Finance function to maintain high standards of financial reporting and governance.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and execution of the Group’s financial and operational reporting processes, system (Board), and timelines in close collaboration with Group Finance.

  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly consolidated financial statements, ensuring they are supported by insightful performance analysis tailored for senior business leaders.

  • Oversee the elimination of intercompany margins and ensure accurate reconciliation of intercompany transactions across all Group entities.

  • Provide expert guidance to Group subsidiaries on financial and operational reporting standards, ensuring consistency and compliance.

  • Ensure full and correct implementation of IFRS across the Group, including coordination and resolution of complex accounting issues

  • Manage accounting activities related to mergers & acquisitions, strategic alliances, collaboration agreements, and R&D arrangements, ensuring proper treatment under IFRS.

  • Support additional tasks as delegated by the Head of Group Accounting & Consolidation, within the agreed scope of responsibilities

Qualifications, required skills and experience:

  • University Degree in Economics or Finance, Accounting qualification (CIMA, ACA or ACCA)

  • 10 years of finance experience and 3 years of people management experience on a global or regional role

  • Strong technical skills, experience with design and management of data structures, SAP R/3 and/or HANA and global reporting systems

  • Relevant experience in consolidation of accounts under IFRS, accounting methodology with an international group, possibly experience of accounting for acquisition  of businesses

  • Ability to lead and develop a team

  • Ability to meet deadlines

  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills as well as communication skills

  • Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional partners and drive process improvement initiatives across an organization.

  • Able to adapt to a dynamic business and work environment and manage multiple priorities required

  • Fluent in English
