Your Impact

As a Manufacturing Operations Lead, you will play a key role in coordinating daily production activities, supporting operators, and ensuring products are completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. You’ll help drive production performance by monitoring critical processes, supporting validation activities, and partnering cross-functionally to resolve manufacturing challenges. This role is a strong opportunity to grow your leadership skills while making a direct impact on team performance, product quality, and operational success.

What You’ll Do

Location: Onsite at our Phoeniz, AZ office
Reports to: Manager, Manufacturing
Direct Reports: Manufacturing Operators

  • Provide day-to-day oversight, coordination, and planning for manufacturing operations to ensure production plans are executed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
  • Direct and support operators through critical manufacturing processes, including monitoring process performance, quality control, yields, and reject data.
  • Perform, monitor, and document critical processes and routine validation protocols in accordance with established procedures.
  • Serve as a liaison between operators and Manufacturing management, escalating issues related to personnel, safety, procedures, materials, equipment, automation, utilities, or systems as needed.
  • Assist supervisors/managers with resource planning, scheduling, and execution of production plans within the designated production area.
  • Inspect operator work and maintain accurate documentation related to production output, yields, rejects, and other required records.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards, including PPE requirements, ISO, OSHA, safety procedures, and internal quality systems.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams such as Production, Engineering, Quality, and R&D to resolve issues related to equipment, manufacturing systems, product quality, and process improvements.
  • Support the transition of new products into manufacturing and recommend improvements to processes, equipment performance, product quality, and production efficiency.
  • Act as a team lead in the absence of the Manufacturing Sr. Associate and support team motivation, coaching, and performance feedback for Operators in levels 1–3.

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent years of work experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing, production, operations, or a related environment, with demonstrated ability to coordinate work and support production teams.
  • Working knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, equipment operation, and techniques for maximizing manufacturing efficiency.
  • Ability to monitor equipment, identify performance issues, evaluate processes, and recommend actions to improve safety, quality, output, or efficiency.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with operators, peers, supervisors, and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to coach, motivate, and develop team members while supporting a safe, compliant, and high-performing work environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment where pace may be determined by equipment speed.
  • Ability to stand for up to 12 hours per day and regularly lift, carry, and move packages and materials up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, which may include safety shoes, glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and hard hats.
