Core responsibilities

As our Group Information & Cyber Security Manager, you will:

  • Lead, develop, and continuously enhance the Group’s information and cyber security posture, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of systems and data.

  • Provide strategic direction and governance across all aspects of information and cyber security.

  • Oversee external partners delivering cyber monitoring, detection, and response ensuring value, resilience, and robust risk management.

  • Own and manage the Group cyber security risk register, including threat modelling, risk assessments, and mitigation planning.

  • Lead the Group’s security incident response, ensuring clear communication, effective resolution, and continuous improvement.

  • Drive compliance with key standards and legislation such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and the UK Data Protection Act.

  • Shape and deliver a Group‑wide security awareness culture, including education campaigns and targeted training.

  • Influence senior leaders and divisional teams, translating complex risks into clear, business‑focused recommendations.

  • Act as a key contributor to Group digital transformation, ensuring security is an enabler

What we're looking for

At Genuit Group we are looking for someone with:

  • Senior‑level experience in Information Security and Cyber Security management within a complex, multi‑site or group environment.

  • Strong technical understanding across IAM, DLP, EDR, SIEM, vulnerability management and broader security controls.

  • Experience leading major transformation programmes with a security lens.

  • Deep understanding of regulatory and standard frameworks, including ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR and industry best practice.

  • A collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence, inspire, and challenge at Executive and Board level.

  • A pragmatic, risk‑based mindset – balancing security with operational and commercial needs.

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to drive cultural and behavioural change.
