We are looking for a passionate, collaborative, and adaptable Group Director, to join Redbox, our Analytics and Business Intelligence practice. This role will lead audience strategy, advanced analytics, and marketing effectiveness initiatives across a portfolio of clients.

This leader sits at the intersection of audience insights, data strategy, and media measurement — translating complex analytics into clear, actionable growth strategies. You will serve as a senior advisor to clients, shape go-to-market audience frameworks and elevate internal analytics capabilities.

This is a NY based role, with a hybrid work setting (in-office & work from home flexibility). 

Client & Business Leadership

  • Serve as senior data advisor across multiple accounts.
  • Present confidently to executive stakeholders and translate complexity into clarity.
  • Contribute to new business strategy and agency differentiation.
  • Identify growth opportunities and incremental scope through data-driven insight.

Team & Operational Leadership

  • Lead and mentor mid-sized analytics teams across multiple client businesses.
  • Scope projects accurately, manage timelines, and anticipate resource needs.
  • Foster collaboration across strategy, planning, activation, and measurement teams.
  • Develop talent through structured feedback and growth planning.

Audience Strategy & Data Expertise

  • Deep expertise in audience segmentation methodologies, clustering techniques, and persona development.
  • Strong command of first-party, second-party, and third-party data ecosystems and how they connect to addressable activation.
  • Experience designing end-to-end audience frameworks spanning insights, activation strategy, and measurement.
  • Strong understanding of identity resolution, clean room environments, and privacy-safe targeting strategies.
  • Working knowledge of syndicated research tools (e.g., YouGov, MRI), CRM data, site analytics, and cross-channel performance datasets.
  • Clear understanding of data governance principles and evolving privacy regulations.

Advanced Analytics & Measurement

  • Proven experience leading Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) engagements, including model interpretation, diagnostics, and optimization guidance.
  • Strong foundation in advanced statistical methodologies, including regression modeling, multivariate testing, clustering, segmentation modeling, and brand lift analysis.
  • Experience designing and evaluating A/B tests, incrementality studies, and match market testing frameworks.
  • Ability to translate complex modeling outputs into executive-ready narratives and clear business implications.
  • Experience guiding predictive analytics initiatives and AI-informed insight development.

Technology & Platform Fluency

  • Hands-on familiarity with modern data and analytics environments including Snowflake, DBT, SQL, Python or R, and visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Understanding of martech and adtech ecosystems, including DSPs, DMPs, identity platforms, Google Marketing Cloud, CRM integrations, and data clean rooms.
  • Knowledge of campaign measurement platforms (e.g., CM360) and digital activation environments.
  • Commitment to responsible AI usage and ethical data application in marketing

REQUIREMENTS

  • 12+ years in audience strategy, marketing analytics, data science, or marketing effectiveness — ideally within an agency environment.
  • Deep expertise in audience segmentation, data strategy, and advanced modeling techniques.
  • Proven experience leading MMM or advanced measurement initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of privacy regulations and data governance.
  • Demonstrated success managing senior client relationships and influencing business decisions.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams environment
  • Experience contributing to new business strategy, thought leadership, or agency differentiation efforts.
  • Exceptional storytelling ability — able to translate analytical complexity into clear, compelling, executive-level recommendations.
  • Confident presenter with experience influencing senior client stakeholders and cross-functional leadership teams.
  • Ability to balance strategic vision with operational rigor.
  • Collaborative and adaptable within a dynamic, evolving analytics landscape.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity while building structured frameworks.
  • High integrity with strong commitment to data ethics and governance.

Salary range is $170,000 -$ 210,000 annual.  Compensation is determined on the skills, qualifications, certifications, tenure in the industry and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position
