Job Details:
This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation. This includes standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching. Additionally, candidates must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry at least 50 pounds. This position requires working outdoors in extreme hot and/or cold environments and involves, but is not limited to, the use of lawnmowers, weed eaters, snow blowers, snow shovels, and sprayers.
Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson are subject to a 180-day rehire waiting period and a limit of three rehires.
Hours: Friday–Tuesday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Requirements:
6 months experience of mechanic work in the work history section of application or be a graduate of an industrial maintenance training program.
