Job Summary

As the Product Manager for Commercial PCs in the Greater Asia (GA) market, you will be the strategic architect of our commercial hardware portfolio. You will bridge the gap between global product development and local market execution, ensuring HP maintains its leadership in Commercial Notebooks, Desktops, and Thin Clients. Your mission is to translate complex technical specifications into high-impact value propositions that resonate with partners and customers across the diverse GA landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Roadmap & Lifecycle Management
    • Build and maintain a consolidated Product Roadmap View for the entire Commercial PC category, including Notebooks, Desktops, and Thin Clients.
    • Strategically align regional roadmaps with Global Business Unit (GBU) timelines, covering all phases from early planning to New Product Introduction (NPI) and end-of-life (EOL).
    • Synthesize market trends and competitive intelligence to influence future product iterations.
    • Coordinate quarterly Heatmap and PFV reviews with countries and WW teams, ensuring key product challenges and opportunities are tracked and included in roadmap cycles.
  • NPI Excellence & Global Collaboration
    • Lead the New Product Introduction (NPI) process for the GA region, coordinating with global teams to ensure readiness across cost, availability (AVs), and SKU configurations.
    • Define regional competitive positioning and craft compelling value propositions for all new launches.
    • Drive operational readiness by managing forecasting tracking and country-level training for sales teams.
  • Strategic Value Proposition & Solution Selling
    • Utilize global platforms and tools to build sophisticated value propositions that go beyond "speeds and feeds".
    • Integrate HP’s holistic solutions into the product narrative, including the Workforce Experience Platform (WXP) and internal HP AI tools.
    • Enable category and sales teams to position one HP narrative through cross BU integration
  • Engagement, Learning & Gamification
    • Cultivate an environment of continuous learning by creating "excitement" around the commercial portfolio.
    • Develop and deploy creative enablement assets, including videos, communications, and gamified learning experiences, to drive internal and partner engagement.
    • Act as the "product evangelist" for the GA region, inspiring teams to win with purpose and integrity.
  • Operational Cadence & Business Execution
    • Drive the quarterly operational cadence for the Commercial PC business, ensuring rigorous execution against financial and strategic targets.
    • Lead key business reviews and presentations with Worldwide (WW) stakeholders.
    • Own the follow-through on action items to ensure regional business objectives are met with agility and precision.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Finance; MBA preferred.
  • Experience: 8–12 years in Product Management or Category Management within the IT industry, ideally with a focus on Commercial PCs.
  • Analytical Rigor: Proven ability to manage complex business planning, financial modeling, and 4P (Product, Price, Place, Promotion) strategies.
  • Communication: Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to influence senior management and external partners.
  • Innovation Mindset: Passion for AI-driven transformation and emerging technologies in the workspace.
