Your New Role and Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Lead to join a diverse leadership team to lead the delivery user focused IT support services. This role will report to and support the IT Security Manager on all assigned responsibilities. You’ll also play a key role in onboarding, training, and supporting a hybrid workforce, with a strong emphasis on service excellence and operational maturity.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Phase-In IT Security activities on behalf of the Leidos IT Security Manager.
Develop and deliver Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) capabilities within the project scope, including security advice, design review, documentation, and system authorization.
Act as a trusted security advisor to customer stakeholders, supporting both general GRC and higher classified specific decision-making.
Support customer in managing information security incidents, particularly at the higher classification level, outside standard IT Security Operations.
Qualifications & Experience
Extensive experience across networking, development, gateways, cloud, or similar technologies, with the ability to design and implement practical security controls and communicate effectively with highly technical teams.
Considerable experience contributing to IT system design, including reviewing and interpreting design documentation across diverse technologies.
Strong understanding of intelligence processes and end-to-end data flows.
Experience working on GRC activities, including system design, security artefacts, and authorization to operate.
Experience working in confidential and sensitive information security incident response, with demonstrated capability in coordinating and guiding GRC specialists across security domains.
This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and hold a or be able to obtain an TSPV level security clearance and DISA.
