The Columbus Regional Airport Authority manages and operates passenger-focused John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH), cargo-focused Rickenbacker International Airport (LCK), and general aviation airport Bolton Field (TZR).

Your “Take Off” will be successful by doing the following with excellence:

  • Responsible for the visual language of all CRAA activities including marketing, environmental branding, community affairs, and communications.
  • Collaborates with senior leadership and all CRAA employees to establish visual programs that reflect and reinforce the organization’s brand and core values.
  • Translate creative strategy and business goals into effective, on-brand visual deliverables across all communication channels including print, web, social media, e-communications, animations, presentations, vehicle wraps, apparel and promotional products, and environmental design.  
  • Utilizes visual storytelling to develop engaging multimedia content including video, audio, motion graphics, animation, and presentations.
  • Creates and ensures organizational adherence to visual management policies and resources to maintain visual brand consistency across all deliverables.
  • Develops creative visual solutions in support of established goals, timelines, and budgets, creating all design concepts and layouts for varying stakeholders in alignment to the organization’s brand identity and strategy.
  • Creates and assembles images, graphics, animations, and video to produce designs for various communications channels.
  • Pushes the envelope of content creation according to the latest design and technology trends.
  • Supervises vendors and outside service agents in support of providing visual deliverables that meet business goals.
  • Manage brand assets and marketing collateral.
  • Performs related work as required.
  • Salary range for this position is $75,000.00 - $85,000.00. The offered salary is evaluated using internal equity, job knowledge, skills, experience, and other key factors.
  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug test, which includes testing for marijuana (medical marijuana cards are not acceptable)

Your “Landing” will be smooth if you meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or Visual Communication
  • Minimum three (3) years’ experience in graphic design, developing creative visual solutions, or related profession, experience working in an agency or visual design department preferred; Or equivalent education and years of experience.
  • Knowledge of digital asset management software, social media platforms, and online email marketing design services.
  • Experience with branding, hierarchy, and information design
