JOB SUMMARY: The Texas Rangers are seeking a Graphic Design Intern to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with the Design Team to create engaging content and develop layouts that support a variety of marketing initiatives. You’ll gain hands-on experience working on real projects across digital, print, and social media platforms. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with the creative leadership team, contributing to the growth of in-house creative capabilities while gaining exposure to brand development, campaign execution, and cross-functional collaboration. We’re looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual eager to grow their design skills in a fast-paced, team-driven environment. This internship runs from May 2026 through August/September 2026.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDES, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
Create and develop visual and creative assets for multiple channels, such as print, digital, sales, experiential, web, and social for the marketing team as well as other departments throughout the organization.
Collaborate with creative and marketing team on evolving and executing the brand look and feel, ensuring a consistent and cohesive look throughout all channels.
Work with the Art Director to research and explore design and technology trends.
Assist the Art Director and design team with creative asset management.
Contribute to our creative culture of curiosity.
Other duties as assigned.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in Graphic Design.
Ability to create compelling graphics aligned with current campaigns and the Texas Rangers brand guidelines.
Knowledge of design elements, artistic ability, and creativity.
Strong typography, design layout, information hierarchy and copy skills are a must.
Ability to communicate clearly with team members and internal partners.
Ability to be flexible, multi-task, and work under tight deadlines.
Proficient knowledge and skills with Mac and the Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, After Effects.
Ability to work within established guidelines and templates to produce seasonal campaign assets.
Willingness to learn and maintain a positive attitude.
