As a Graphic Design Intern at FTI, you will have the opportunity to work on a vast array of design projects, including digital and print media. This role will work within a creative services team environment and will have the opportunity to design within a diverse portfolio of brands under the guidance of tenured professionals. This is a hybrid role, allowing you to work both remotely and on-site. In addition to project work, you will also participate in multiple team-building events, facility tours, volunteer activities and a dedicated send-off event to celebrate your internship experience.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: A High School Diploma or GED

Education: Enrolled in an accredited institution in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (Junior or Senior year preferred)

Travel: Yes

Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday. Ability to work a flexible schedule is necessary.

Essential Functions:

  • Assist in the creation of digital and print marketing materials, including social media graphics, collateral, presentations, and advertisements.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Services team to develop and execute creative concepts.
  • Support the production of visual content for our website and other digital platforms.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas.
  • Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity.
  • Assist with photo editing, retouching, and image optimization.
  • Stay updated on design trends and industry best practices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • A solid understanding of basic design principles: layout, typography, color theory and current design trends.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Strong portfolio showcasing design skills and creativity.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
