DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW 

At Peanuts Worldwide, our Marketing and Creative teams work in tandem to evolve the brand’s global presence. While the Marketing Department crafts strategic integrations and PR initiatives, the Creative Department translates that vision into compelling key art, launch kits, and comprehensive Style Guides. Together, they equip global licensees with the creative tools and trend-driven insights necessary to inspire products for everyone from toddlers to lifelong collectors. 

 

POSITION SUMMARY 

The Peanuts Worldwide team is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graphic Artist Intern  to support the  Peanuts Worldwide Creative Department. In this role, you will be at the heart of brand evolution, helping to develop Consumer Product Style Guides and Trend Packs. 

 

You will join a cross-functional team to research global trends and translate them into actionable artwork. This is a structured, hands-on role with defined deliverables and direct collaboration with creative leads.  

 

This position will be on a Hybrid schedule with 2 days per week in the 352 Park Avenue South office, with a commitment of 24 hours weekly. 

  

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Trend Research:Conducttrend research to identify and organize emerging market themes.Develop mood boards that define relevant color palettes, motifs, typography, and copy for the consumer product industry. 

  • Design & Development:Gain experiencein brand development by helping designspot graphics and seamless repeat patternsfor use in officialPeanutsstyle guides and seasonal trend packs. 

  • Asset Management:Optimize and organizefinal vector artwork to ensure files meet industry specifications for production and handoff. 

  • Direct Mentorship:Work daily with the Senior Graphic Artist on design tasks and Style Guide research and development. 

  • Creative Growth:Participate in team reviews to learn the full design process, from the first brief to the final product. 

QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION 

Your qualifications and experience should include:  

  • Academic Standing:Junior or above preferred

  • GPA:Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. 

  • Vector Skills:Strong ability to create and edit vector graphics. 

  • Portfolio:A collection of work showing strong design taste and execution. 

  • Production Basics:Knowledge of file setup and color for both digital and print. 

  • Software:Proficiency inAdobe Creative Suite, with a focus onAdobe Illustrator. 

The target hourly rate for this internship is $21.00 per hour. The individual will be paid hourly and eligible for overtime.
