Position Overview: 

We are seeking a motivated Graduate Trainee with a background in Environmental Economics, Development Economics, or Policy Specialization to join our dynamic team in Madrid. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across our Services, Research, and Governance teams, gaining comprehensive exposure to various aspects of Sustainability and Climate initiatives. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in the end-to-end execution of client projects across a diverse range of areas, including GHG accounting, physical and transition risk analysis, nature and biodiversity topics, climate-related opportunities, and customized projects. 
  • Conduct research and analysis on climate-related policies, market trends, and ESG metrics to support the development of analytical products. 
  • Collaborate on projects related to corporate governance, risk management, and compliance with ESG regulations, ensuring alignment with industry standards. 
  • Engage in cross-functional projects, contributing to team discussions and strategy development. 
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills in Sustainability and Climate topics. 
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 

Qualifications: 

  • Recent graduate or expected graduate by Summer 2026 with a degree in Environmental Economics, Development Economics, Public Policy, or a related field. 
  • Strong understanding of ESG principles and climate-related issues. 
  • Excellent analytical and research skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information. 
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, in English. Proficiency in Spanish is a plus. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities. 
  • Passion for sustainability and a desire to make a positive impact in the field of ESG.
