Graduate Student Research Internship -

The Grainger Lab is seeking a part-time Graduate Student Research Intern (15-20 hours/week) to be a key part of our research team. The research focus of our lab explores the molecular and cellular mechanisms of hematopoietic stem cell development, cancer and Wnt signaling. Work in the laboratory is conducted across multiple levels, including in vitro assays, mammalian cell lines, and zebrafish models. 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Full-time registered Master's student in a related degree program
• A strong curiosity about basic science and its clinical application;
• Highly organized, a multi-tasker who pays attention to detail and values research integrity;
• Patient and loves contributing to a team dynamic,
• Strong communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assisting with experiments
• Preparing reagents
• Genotyping
• Culturing cells
• General lab maintenance
