We are seeking a Graduate Software Engineer (.NET + Angular) to support developing and delivering our high-quality Darwin™ product. We will count on you to:

  • Designing and developing our main product, Darwin;
  • Deliver the Darwin Roadmap: productivity and quality of software produced is in line with expectations, ensuring any guidance or feedback is followed and implemented;
  • Work closely with any mentors or assigned senior engineers to ensure development needs are met;
  • Ensuring best-practice development methods are used and followed where relevant
  • Designing and Developing systems that are maintainable, scalable, extensible, reliable and secure;
  • Extensive front-end development, using the latest web technologies, to create user-friendly and accessible user experiences;
  • Working in multi-disciplined teams including Architecture, Quality Engineering, Product Management, UX
  • Object-Oriented Programming (SOLID) fundamentals;

What you need to have:

  • Interest in building software with modern C#/.NET and SQL, with a desire to learn and grow through coaching and feedback.
  • Exposure to Angular and TypeScript (academic, internship or personal projects welcomed), with an understanding of responsive and accessible web development principles.
  • Solid foundations in object-oriented programming (e.g., classes, interfaces, inheritance, encapsulation) and clean, maintainable code.
  • Awareness of the software development lifecycle and Agile ways of working (e.g., user stories, sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives).
  • Familiarity with designing or consuming HTTP APIs, such as REST and/or gRPC, and understanding how front-end and back-end services integrate.
  • Comfortable using Git and collaborative workflows (branching, pull requests), ideally via Azure DevOps and/or GitHub.
  • Quality-first mindset: keen to write automated tests, participate in code reviews, and learn secure, reliable engineering practices.
  • Strong English communication skills, with the ability to explain ideas clearly and ask good questions.
  • Well organised with good prioritisation skills and attention to detail when working across multiple tasks.
  • Proactive and collaborative approach enjoys working in a team, taking ownership of learning, and contributing to continuous improvement.
