Role description: Sales Graduate joining a focused 2-year development programme designed for Saudi graduates. The role involves rotating through key sales functions with the aim of developing into permanent sales specialist or account manager within the Aggreko sales team.
Detailed description: The Sales Graduate will undertake a 2-year structured programme designed to build strong sales capabilities and sector expertise. In the first year, trainees will focus on sales induction, sales administration, and inside sales to develop a solid understanding of the sales process and operational support. The second year will emphasise business development, account management, and revenue-generating activities, alongside development of essential soft skills.
Each trainee will be based in one of Aggreko’s key Saudi locations—Jeddah, Riyadh, or Dammam—with a sector specialism: Riyadh (Events), Jeddah (PCR), and Dammam (Oil & Gas). This programme offers hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to real business challenges, preparing trainees for a permanent sales role within Aggreko.
Responsibilities
Participate in sales induction and training to understand Aggreko’s sales processes and systems.
Support sales administration and inside sales activities to ensure smooth sales operations.
Develop communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Engage in business development activities to identify and pursue new sales opportunities.
Manage customer accounts and support account managers in delivering excellent client service.
Gain sector-specific knowledge relevant to assigned location (Events, PCR, or Oil & Gas).
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and progress throughout the programme.
Adhere to Aggreko’s sales policies, compliance, and ethical standards.
Demonstrate a proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and contribute to the sales team.
Key performance indicators
Successful completion of the 2-year graduate programme with demonstrated competence in sales functions.
Ability to independently manage sales administration and contribute to business development efforts.
Development of strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Achievement of sales targets and contribution to revenue growth where applicable.
Consistent adherence to company policies and professional standards.
Positive attitude, motivation, and commitment throughout the programme.
Location: Dammam (Oil & Gas sector)
What we’re looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Passionate about mechanical or electrical engineering.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Highly motivated with a positive attitude.
Technical knowledge in mechanical or electrical engineering, ideally in power generation (preferred but not essential)
Possession of a valid driving license.
Business level English proficiency.
