POSITION SUMMARY:
Graduate Sales Development Program (approx. 24-Months) for entry-level professionals or recent graduates
DuBois Chemicals is seeking entry-level professionals or recent graduates who want to build a high-impact career in field sales. Graduate Sales Development Representatives (SDR) should be ambitious and motivated to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities. Candidates will enter a structured rotational Graduate Sales Development Program for approximately 24-months. This program will provide a blend of onsite training, virtual learning, real-world application, and mentorship while developing the commercial, technical, and leadership capabilities required to step confidently into a full-time field sales role. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prospecting & Research: Research and identify target accounts and key decisionmakers using Sales Navigator and Microsoft Dynamics Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
- Outbound & Engagement: Drive cold outreach initiatives across email, phone, and social channels to generate new leads, spark conversations, and build early‑stage pipeline opportunities.
- Lead Qualification: Qualify inbound/outbound leads by asking open-ended questions and active listening to assess needs.
- Appointment Setting: Schedule discovery calls or product demonstrations between qualified leads and Account Managers.
- Communication: Clearly and professionally communicate with internal and external customers through phone, email, and virtual collaboration tools, ensuring information is delivered accurately, timely, and with strong customer focus.
- Selling Skills: Develop strong selling skills in a short period of time requiring focused practice, intentional learning, and consistent application.
- Decision Making: Effectively make decisions with imperfect or ambiguous data while balancing the risks, judgement and speed to resolution. Assimilating information from various sources.
- Collaboration & Learning: Partner with Marketing on campaigns, attend sales training sessions and analyze market trends.
- CRM Management: Maintain meticulous records of all outreach activities and lead statuses in the Microsoft Dynamics CRM system.
- Metrics & Reporting: Meet weekly activity Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as calls, emails and meetings reporting results to leadership.
- Training: Methodically and successfully accomplish each facet of the Graduate Sales Development Program.
- Travel: Visit current customers and prospective customers with a Business Development Manager (BDM), District Sales Manager (DSM) or Account Manager (AM).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or other related fields.
- Highly motivated, coachable and resilient attitude to meet and exceed KPI’s.
- Ability to maintain a positive and persistent effort despite constant rejection.
- Exceptional verbal and written skills for persuasive messaging, building rapport, and distilling complex concepts.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively through presentations including the capability to clearly organize information and articulate key messages.
- Ability to receive and rapidly implement feedback from sales managers and peers.
- Effective consultation, negotiation, problem solving and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to understand our products, market dynamics, competitor activities and customer needs.
- Goal oriented and proactive approach to seeking new business.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and various business applications.
- Ability to learn and understand the utilization of CRM and lead generation tools to manage leads, contacts, accounts, opportunities, pipelines and forecasting.
- Ability to travel up to 25% including overnight travel.
