Job Description Summary:
This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you will work with advanced automation, robotics, and cutting-edge production systems. You will rotate across key areas of the plant, collaborate with experienced engineers, and contribute to real projects that improve safety, quality, efficiency, and environmental performance.
What You Will Do For Us
As a Graduate Mechatronic Engineer, you will:
Apply a proactive, structured approach to troubleshooting production issues related to PLCs and software-driven systems.
Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement improvements across safety, quality, productivity, and environmental performance.
Support and deliver engineering projects, including:
Process modifications
Automation and software enhancements
Traceability systems
Equipment and system upgrades
Collaborate with contractors and external partners to implement automated solutions.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing site.
What We’re Looking For
Education
2025 or 2026 graduate with an Honours Degree in Mechatronic Engineering.
Skills & Capabilities
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Understanding of industrial automation, electrical systems, and instrumentation.
Basic PLC or industrial programming knowledge.
A collaborative mindset and the confidence to work across multiple teams and functions.
Experience
Experience working in team-based, solution-focused environments.
Exposure to automated manufacturing systems (through projects, placements, or internships) is an advantage.
Travel
Up to 5% regional travel may be required.
