DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create and revise 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, or other design software as required.
Work with the design team to develop plans, sections, details in accordance with project requirements.
Support the preparation of quantity takeoffs, and presentation materials.
Stay current with CAD software updates, drafting best practices, and company workflows.
Occasional site visits to support contract administrators and site inspectors during construction
QUALIFICATIONS (INCLUDING EDUCATION and/or JOB EXPERIENCE):
Civil Engineering Technology graduate, or equivalent training in CAD, drafting, engineering technology, or a related field.
Eligible for future Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT) C.E.T. certification.
Strong computer skills including expertise with specialized software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
