Summary:
SPA Professor, Karen O'Connor, seeks a Graduate Assistant to assist with a weekend class; GOVT 485/685: Politics of Reproductive Rights and Eugenics on March 20 and 21 in person and to provide research assistance for 15 - 20 hours a week for the remainder of the semester.
Essential Functions:
Ability and interest in compiling data and information about women’s rights litigators.
Availability the week before and after March 21 & 22 weekend class on Politics of Reproductive Rights and Eugenics.
Be available to assist with class all day on March 21 & 22 from 8:45am to 5:00pm.
Ability to upload documents to Canvas.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
Part-time.
15 - 20 hours per week.
Salary Range:
$22.50 per hour.
Required Education and Experience:
Must be a graduate student.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Familiarity with LEXIS/NEXIS is helpful.
Prior experience compiling data.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
Must be available for the remainder of the Spring 2026 semester.
Available in person for class (March 21 & 22), but all other work can be done remotely.
