Job Description

The Graduate Assistant Non-Teaching will assist with clerical work and assist the Center for Instructional Innovation & Technology Services.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist instructors and/or students as needed while they are in our computer labs.
  • Video/Web conferencing support (scheduling and bridging).
  • Work as an assistant scheduler in the Office of the Dean.
  • Configure A-V setup for Auditorium and/or Smart classrooms.
  • Oversee undergraduate worker with system setups and configurations in 7 computer labs.
  • Manage and connect multiple endpoints for class meetings and conferences.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in an applicable field.
  • Must be enrolled as a full-time graduate student at Prairie View A&M University. (Minimum of 9 credit hours during the regular fall and spring semesters and 6 semester credit hours for the summer semester).
  • Must be in good academic standing.
