Job Description Responsible for the definition, design, development, test, debugging, release, enhancement, and maintenance of software tools for domain specific programming languages. May work directly with hardware design team, companies and communities developing compilers, and participate in language and standards groups.
We are seeking a senior compiler candidate who will be working on Intel graphics compiler project that involves DX shader, OpenGL, OpenCL and SYCL.
Key Responsibilities The job responsibilities consist of:
• Intermediate representation interface: Design and integrate the IR interface between FE components and Intel graphics compiler
• Optimizer: Design and develop optimization algorithms
• Generated code analysis: Analyze compiler generated code, identify inefficiency and propose compiler optimizations or HW enhancements to address performance issues
• Architecture research: Work with HW architects on collecting data and evaluating for advanced features for future Intel Graphics processors
Minimum Qualifications:
• MS or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Electrical and Computer Engineer
• 3+ years of academic or work experience in/with
C/C++ programming experience
• 1+ years academic or work experience
in compiler development
Preferred qualifications:
• Familiarity with compiler optimizations, front-end translation and back-end code generation
• Familiarity with computer and graphics architecture
• Familiarity with GPGPU programming model
• Knowledge of LLVM infrastructure is a big plus

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $149,600.00-211,200.00 USD

Work Model for this Role
