Join the GPS Associate Programme, a structured 18 months development journey designed for ambitious early-career professionals aiming to build a career in private banking.

As part of the Wealth Planning team in Zurich, you will embark on a dynamic 18 months program combining a rotational assignment, intensive training, mentorship and project and task responsibilities.

Through hands-on experience and continuous learning, you will develop the skills, network, and business acumen necessary to transition into a permanent role as Junior Wealth Planner Succession Switzerland within GPS upon successful completion.

YOUR CHALLENGE

  • Advising and supporting bank clients on civil law matters under Swiss law (in particular matrimonial property law, inheritance law, and adult protection law)

  • Supporting senior wealth planners in legal assessments and the preparation of client documentation

  • Collaborating with other specialists within the bank to deliver comprehensive client solutions (e.g., working with international colleagues from the Wealth Planning team)

  • Coordinating and cooperating with a range of external experts (lawyers, notaries, and other specialists)

  • Assessing and implementing appropriate legal and wealth planning solutions for clients residing in Switzerland or in cross-border situations involving Switzerland

  • Contributing to internal Wealth Planning projects

  • Drafting training documents and presentations

YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law

  • 1 to 3 years of professional experience in private client services, ideally gained at a consulting firm, a renowned law firm, or a Swiss notary public office

  • Solid knowledge of Swiss civil law

  • Excellent communication skills and a service-oriented, client-focused personality

  • Entrepreneurial thinking and a strong sense of responsibility

  • Professional and well-considered demeanour

  • Sound technical judgement and strong analytical capabilities

  • Team-oriented individual with an open mindset

  • Native German and Business English

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Capacity to work and travel within Switzerland
