ING is on the hunt for an experienced Governance and Controls Analyst to join our dynamic team based in Sydney. This is a permanent full-time opportunity based in our Sydney (60 Margaret St) office.
As our Governance and Controls Analyst, you’ll be responsible for supporting the Governance and Controls Lead in the implementation and ongoing governance of the Australia KYC Program. This includes reporting to both local and global stakeholders. You’ll also responsible for ensuring implementation of the KYC Policy across the 1st Line of Defence (1LOD) to ensure compliance to local and global Policies. In addition, supporting the wider 1LOD in facilitating AML Risk Assessments using both local and global methodologies to ensure risks are appropriately identified, managed and mitigated.
Your key focus will be understanding our Know Your Customer (KYC) Policy, along with AML/FEC guidelines, to ensure compliance with local and global policies and regulations. The role may also involve supporting remediation and improvement initiatives across KYC Australia and within the greater ING group.
This is an 'AML sensitive' role and appointment to this role is subject to applicants satisfying the requirements of ING’s AML Policy prior.
