The Four Seasons Resort Lāna’i is looking for a Golf Equipment Operator who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. Our teams have the opportunity to shape our guest experience by providing exceptional knowledge of the Resort and exemplifying the Golden Rule in each interaction. Work authorization required.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Our Golf Equipment Operators operate motorized equipment on the golf course in a safe, efficient, and professional manner. They use powered golf course maintenance equipment with proficiency and a strong awareness of golfer and team safety. They are responsible for following standard procedures, maintaining equipment, and supporting daily maintenance operations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Safely and proficiently operate powered golf course maintenance equipment, maintaining awareness of golfer and team safety at all times.
Conduct daily pre-operation checks, including oil, fuel, and fluid levels; perform walk-around inspections to identify any defects.
Make minor adjustments to equipment before operation, including testing controls, verifying proper pressure levels, and ensuring panel gauges and lights are functioning; report malfunctions to the supervisor.
Wash and lubricate equipment at the end of each workday.
Perform end-of-day walk-around inspections to identify any damage or excessive wear; report all findings to the supervisor.
Learn and maintain knowledge of correct cutting heights across the golf course.
Maintain positive customer relations and provide courteous service when interacting with guests.
Service and maintain equipment according to established schedules.
Cleaning the Golf Operations Facility and equipment.
Observe and report any turf, landscape, or equipment issues to the supervisor promptly.
Follow all safety procedures to ensure the safety of self, coworkers, and company property.
Requires understanding of varying work conditions to minimize equipment wear.
Must maintain a clean and orderly work area

WHAT TO BRING
Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States
Required to have a current State of Hawaii Driver’s License
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and push/pull as needed during shifts
Requires knowledge of golf course turf management practices, as well as prior experience operating golf course equipment safely.
Weekend and Holiday availability required.
