Crest Nicholson's Special Projects Division are currently looking for a Golden Thread Manager to join their established and knowledgeable team.

As Golden Thread Manager you will collate, review and file all relevant information required to produce the ‘Golden Thread’ of information required on the completion of the Fire Remediation works undertaken both internally and externally.

Other Duties include:

  • Maintain awareness of relevant Statutory requirements and best practice for information retention and record keeping.
  • Promote awareness in the Special Projects Divisional Team of Golden Thread requirements and arrange for any training needed.
  • Develop and maintain Special Projects standards of record keeping.
  • Upload and maintain the Golden Thread information once complete on the Cloud Based Platform (Project Unify).
  • Carry out other relevant information management duties as required.
  • Ensure that relevant parties, internal and external entities, understand what they must provide and in what format and when.
  • Assist the Senior Technical Project Managers in producing the ‘Golden Thread Pack’.
  • Note that Golden Thread is required for High Risk Buildings (HRB’s) only however Special Projects Division have agreed to provide Golden Thread for ALL their buildings but as a minimum non-HRB’s should be provided with information in line with Regulation 38.

Desired Experience / Attributes: 

  • Basic understanding of Higher Risk Buildings (Keeping and Provision of Information etc) (England) Regulations 2024
  • Previous experience in Data Management and various data management systems (4Projects, Fieldview, Zutec, Teams etc)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work without supervision
