GO Lang Developer

We are looking for you if:

• Have extensive experience in Go programming for API development and maintenance

• Have experience in designing and implementing REST APIs

• Understand CI/CD principles and practices

• Have experience with GIT

• Have knowledge of project patterns

• Have knowledge of OpenAPI specification

• Have basic knowledge of issues related to databases

English level B2/C1

You'll get extra points for:

• Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)

• Experience with Azure DevOps

• Knowledge of event streaming platform (Apache Kafka)

• Have hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack)

 Your responsibilities:

• Design, development of new API solutions using Go language

• Maintenance and enhancement of existing APIs

• Deployment and management of applications on OpenShift

• Contribution to CI/CD pipeline development and optimization

• Use various technologies on top of Redhat Enterprise Linux and Windows Server

• Build and improve monitoring/alerting and observability across services and automate tasks throughout the platform lifecycle, eg: Prometheus, Grafana, ElasticSearch, Logstash;

• Collaborate with development teams to understand needs/provide enablement and drive adoption of best practices;

• Contribute to platform architecture, documentation and internal tooling;

• Carry out production deployments, identifying and patching bugs and reducing inefficiencies;

• Provide 24x7 coverage (weekends and evenings) for standby duty on a rotational basis with other team members.

Information about the team:

We are a team of five engineers who deliver infrastructure (1200+ servers, networks) for the most demanding platforms and applications within the ING.  We provide automation for operating system installation, network and firewall management, together with advance monitoring systems. Team is located in Poland.

The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be “Engineer IV”.

The financial ranges specified in the announcement are adjusted and may differ from the range specified in the remuneration regulations.
